Anyone who has an interest in supporting us is automatically a member of the PTA, including:
Parents and carers of current, former, and future Torridon pupils
Teachers and support staff
Friends and extended family members
Neighbours and business leaders
Want to support our school community by raising funds or volunteering? YOU'RE a member of the PTA! We all have a role to play, and together we can create an active, inclusive community in which our children can learn and thrive.
PTA leadership
A board of volunteer trustees who are elected after each Annual General Meeting lead the PTA. Together, trustees are responsible for the charity's governance: managing the finances; ensuring we follow relevant laws, regulations, and best practice; and overseeing our strategic direction. Trustees also support the fantastic volunteers who lead the events we host throughout the year.

Megan Wybrew
Mom to Emmaline (5A) and Tom (2E), Megan is from Little Rock, Arkansas. She moved to London in 2008 after a stint in Japan, where she met her British husband Adam. She has worked as a charity executive and freelance graphic designer. Megan enjoys making spreadsheets and taking deep dives into whatever project she's working on, usually related to home renovation, international travel, or the PTA.
Ruth Webster
Mum to Elliot (Yr9), Grace (Yr8) and Holly (3G), Ruth was a secondary school teacher in London for 15 years before joining Bromley Youth Music Trust as a piano teacher. Ruth has been a keen supporter of the PTA for the last 10 years and enjoys leading and helping out at events.
Sarah Macshane
Mum to Otis in Reception, Sarah leads the LEGO Group’s Social Responsibility agenda in the UK and is a strong advocate for learning through play. Sarah works closely with Abbotshall to engage volunteers and is excited to get stuck into PTA work and events.
Teresa Dybeck
Mum to Bjorn (5C) and Lovisa (4K), Teresa is from Sweden and works in international development. After four years in Mozambique with the UN, her family returned to Catford last year. She enjoyed engaging in their previous school’s community and is excited to join PTA activities.
